Every video is a room
Open any YouTube video and the people watching it are already there. No links to share, nothing to set up.
A Chrome extension for YouTube
YouTube is better with a crowd.
YapTube adds a live chat to every YouTube video. Everyone watching the same thing lands in the same room, so no video is ever a quiet one.
Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store
See the plans
Free to use. Works on desktop Chrome on youtube.com.
What you get
Chat that waits for you
The latest messages are there when you arrive, and old ones replay at the exact moment they were sent.
Predictions, polls and Sparks
Bet Sparks on what happens next, run a quick poll, or raid another video with everyone online.
A face, not a username
Pick a Yapper avatar, a vibe and a profile scene. Yours reacts when you talk, win or lose.
Pals and private messages
Add friends, see what they are watching and jump in with one click.
Rooms and watch parties
Make a private room for your crew. In a watch party, everyone follows the host from video to video.
Make it yours
Sixteen Yappers to pick from, or build your own. Profile scenes come still on Super Yapper and moving on Mega Yapper.
